Day 1 - JFK - CASABLANCA
10:45 AM - Departure aboard Air Maroc to Casablanca arrive 11:30 PM and await connecting flight 1:20 AM departure to Ghana.
Day 2 - CASABLANCA - ACCRA - Akwaaba/Welcome
Arriving to Accra 4:50 AM Meet and greet and transfer to African Regent, unwind at hotel. Then head out for city tour of Flag Staff House, Black Star Square and Independence Square to go Lunch will be provided by Smile Good Restaurant Green Lantern for Welcome Dinner( L,D)
Day 3 - ACCRA - AFRI-Stories: Sights and Histories of Ghana
Depart 10 Meet Tailors for African wear measurements, City tour visits to the National Theater, OSU Oxford Street, the Du Bois Center, Kwame Nkrumah Mausoleum and Art & Kraft Market. Lunch (expense not included) Return to hotel to prep for a fun night at Afro future (Complementary admission to AFRO FUTURE) (B)
Day 4 - ACCRA - Beautify Me
10 AM Complementary Massages or Makeup, If you want to get your hair braided we can arrange for the stylist, but the cost will be on you. Please notify us in advance. Visit Jamestown to distribute goodies to the children of James Town. 7 PM Green Lantern Restaurant for Sip & Pain, Head out to A club to enjoy the rest of your night (expense not included)
Day 5 - ACCRA - Do your ABCs: Art, Beach, Club
10 AM Arts and craft market and visit Makola Market, Accra Gallery Then head to Zans Beach resort for fun in the sun! Complimentary photographs at the beach bring your beach Chich!10 pm Night club (Bloom bar, Mood, or Play)(B)
Day 6 - ACCRA NEW YEAR’S EVE - Reign in 2027
10 AM Tour the Luscious Aburi Gardens, and then hike to Odum Waterfalls, fruit market. Rental and Lunch ATV (expense not included)10 PM Evening groove brining in the New Year’s till the wheels fall of at Green Lantern includes Fireworks, small chops and Champagne Toast (B)
**Day 7 - ACCRA - ROCK the Boat***
Morning at leisure afternoon boat ride at Akosombo Dam sipping wine and enjoying light local Ghana snack on (Lake Volta)Early Dinner at Bridge View Resort(B)
Day 8 - ACCRA-ELMINA - New Year; New Name
10 AM Transfer to Elmina stopover at Assin Manso( last bath for enslaved before departure to the new world) Name change at Asssin Monso, please state interest at booking for preparation purposes Lunch at Mabel’s Table. Check-in Coconut Grove Hotel(B/L)
Day 9 - ELMINA-CASTLES & FORTS - Nod to the Unforgotten
10 AM Visit major landmarks used during the Trans-Atlantic Slave trade to Elmina Castle a, Fort Jago and Cape Coast Castle and the Historical Museum. Lunch at Hans Cottage.Evening return to hotel, relax by the beach and pool and enjoy a traditional performance (B/L)
Day 10 - KAKUM - One with Nature
9 AM Head to Kakum National Park enjoy the dangling bridge with a view of vegetation, and flowers, wild animals. Afternoon enjoy a leisure bus ride back to Accra to check into your hotel(B/L)
Day 11 - ACCRA - LAST LAST!!
10 AM Time to meet the tailors to try on your outfits then head a fun packed adventure at Aqua Safari. Return to hotel for relaxation and live music at Zen Garden(B)
Day 12 - ACCRA-CASABLANCA-NEW YORK - No Goodbyes. See You later
